The Oasis

After passing through the main gates, guests are surrounded by The Oasis. A beautiful jungle area with pathways criss-crossing through it. Even though there are no real attractions in The Oasis, it is definately not to be ingnored. The area, which is filled with waterfalls, running streams, and lush vegetation, is also teeming with critters. while walking along the paths you will spot many small animals ranging from deer and iguana to anteater and wallabies. The Oasis is also a botanist's dream, since Disney has transplanted many interesting plants from all over the world. The shops in The Oasis include Garden Gate Gifts, and The Outpost, and they sell Disney character merchandise, Animal Kingdom souvenirs, hats , film, and cameras. The only restaurant in The Oasis is The Rainforest Café and it serves environmentally-conscious cuisine.
