Morocco

Inspired by both old and new Moroccan cities, this pavilion is a beautiful reproduction. With spacious courtyards, narrow winding streets, intricate architecture, and trickling fountains, the Moroccan pavilion will take guests to a far off place. The intricate tile work, mosaics, and carved plaster make this one of the most detailed World Showcase pavilions. Even though there are no real attractions at this pavilion, it's still fun to explore the interesting shops lining the narrow shaded streets. The shops include Casablanca Carpets, Tangier Traders, the Brass Bazaar, Berber Oasis, Medina Arts, and Marketplace in the Medina. They sell beautiful rugs and carpets, leather goods, fezzes, baskets, brass pots, merchandise from the movie Aladdin, etc. Since this is the only World Showcase pavilion to be sponsored by the country portrayed, it has a Moroccan tourist office, where you can find out about, or even book, a trip to the real Morocco. The only restaurant at this pavilion is Marrakesh, and it serves lamb, chicken, couscous, etc

Rory Fact: The king of Morroco actully visits form time to time just to see if his county is being reprisented well!

Morroco ahh so thats what its all about!
