Germany

The Germany pavilion looks like it came right out of a fairy tale with it's stair-stepped rooflines and flower boxes. It even has a glockenspiel, which plays a cute little melody on the hour. All the buildings at the pavilion are arranged around a cobblestoned plaza with a statue of St. George, the patron saint of soldiers, with the dragon that legend says he slew during a pilgrimage to the Middle East. Also, right beside the pavilion is a detailed train set that's not to be missed. The shops at the Germany pavilion include Der Bücherwurm, Volkskunst, Der Teddybär, Weinkeller, Süssigkeiten, Die Weihnachts Ecke, Glas Und Porzellan, and Kunstarbeit In Kristall. They sell books, art, wine, clocks, toys, ceramics, sweets, etc. The restaurants at the Germany pavilion include Biergarten and Sommerfest; they serve beer, sausages, chicken, salads, apple strudel, etc. Although there isn't really a true attraction at the Germany pavilion, the shops make up for this since they are quite fun to look through, especially Der Teddybär, which has the largest selection of toys at Walt Disney World, and süssigkeiten, which has many delectible sweets.
