Frontierland

This land is themed to the wild west, complete with saloons and wooden sidewalks. Most of the rides here are wild, in fact they're are some of the wildest rides in all of The Magic Kingdom. First of all there's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, where guests ride in a runaway mine train; next there's Splash Mountain, a ride that starts out okay until Brer Bear and Brer Fox get involved. The tamer attractions are Country Bear Jamboree, a real hand clappin', knee slappin', foot stompin' kind of show; Tom Sawyer Island, a nice place to relax on a hot, busy day; and The Frontierland Shootin' Arcade. The shops here include the Frontier Trading Post, The Trail Creek Hat Shop, The Prairie Outpost and Supply, The Briar Patch, Big Al's, and Frontier Wood Carving which sell cowboy and indian necessities, hats, wood carvings, and mechandise themed to Winnie the Pooh. The restaurants include Pecos Bill Café, Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn, The Turkey Leg Wagon, and The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue, which serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken , sandwiches, ice cream, and smoked turkey legs. Plus, at The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue there is a show going on consantly starring western singers and dancers.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a roller coaster in which guests board a runaway mine train for the wildest ride in the west. The train takes guests careening through and around Thunder Mountain, past pools of rainbow water and billygoats chewing on dynamite, through the flooded town of Tumbleweed and a collapsing mine where it seems there's no way out! Most roller coaster enthusiasts say that this ride is pretty tame because of the lack of steep hills, but I think that all the sharp curves and the mystery of what's going to happen around the next one make up for that. This ride becomes more thrilling after dark.

Choo Choo The railroad is runingaway!

Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island is a wonderful place to go on a busy day because parents can relax and kids can have a ton of fun. There's dark, spooky caves, a barrel bridge, a wind mill, a teeter-totter rock, and a suspension bridge. For the adults there are lots of benches and rocking chairs in the shade. Not to be missed, is Fort Sam Clemen's where you can sit down and play a nice game of checkers or climb the towers and shoot off some guns. Be sure to look through the door of the guardhouse and the blacksmith shop if you like Audio-Animatronics. If your hungry, mosey on over to Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn for some simple vittles. Unfortunatly, Tom Sawyer Island closes at dusk.

Country Bear Jamboree

The Country Bear Jamboree is a musical extravaganza starring 20 Audio-Animatronic bears. The leader of the show, Henry, introduces acts such as The Five Bear Rugs, Teddi Beara, everyone's favourite, Big Al. On the wall of the theatre are three Audio-Animatronic mounted animal heads that heckle the performers during the show. For a knee-slapping, toe-tapping, hand-clapping good time, the Country Bear Jamboree is the place to be. Take note that there are a few different versions of this show such as at Christmas and in the summer, with competely different songs and outfits for the bears, making them almost a whole new show.

Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain is a spectacular ride through Disney's 1946 movie, Song of the South. Guests ride in hollowed out logs through colourful scenes involving Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, Brer Bear, and the whole Brer gang. In fact, most of the ride feels like your actually in a cartoon. After going over 3 small waterfalls, guests arrive at a scene where Brer Rabbit has finally been captured by Brer Fox and Brer Bear. As hungry vultures watch on, Brer Rabbit pleads with Brer Fox, telling him to do anything he wants, except throw him into the briar patch. Fortunately, that's exactly what Brer Fox does. Unfortunately, guests also plummet 5-stories down to the briar patch. Once back inside the mountain, guests are met by tons of Brer Rabbit's friends singing "Zip A Dee Doo Dah" to welcome him back. Splash Mountain is an ideal Disney ride; it has charming characters, thrills, rich scenery, extensive use of Audio-Animatronics, and a good story.

Ziperdee doodah zipadee daaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!
